Referral Program

Overview

cside’s referral program lets your organization earn credits by inviting new users. When someone signs up through your referral link and upgrades to a paid plan, both parties receive credits:

Recipient	Credit	When applied
Referrer (you)	$50	When the referred user upgrades to a paid plan
Referred (new user)	$15	When they sign up via your referral link

Finding your referral link

1. Open the dashboard and navigate to Organization Settings > Billing
2. Locate the Referral card on the billing page
3. Your referral link is displayed in the format: dash.cside.com/referral/{your-slug}
4. Click the Copy button to copy the link to your clipboard

Customizing your referral slug

Your referral URL contains a slug that identifies your organization. You can customize this slug from the referral card in your billing settings to make the link easier to share and more recognizable (e.g., dash.cside.com/referral/your-company-name).

Sharing your referral link

Share your referral link with anyone who could benefit from cside. When a new user visits the link, they see a page confirming that your organization has invited them to try cside, along with the credit amount they will receive. They can then click Continue to proceed to signup.

If a referral link is invalid or has expired, the visitor will see an error message with an option to sign up normally.

Tracking your referrals

The referral card in Organization Settings > Billing displays your referral usage (e.g., “3/10 used”), showing how many referrals you have used out of your maximum.

Each referral tracks the following details:

• Status (pending, claimed, etc.)
• Creation date — when the referral link was used
• Claimed date — when the referred user upgraded and the bonus was applied
• Referred organization name — the organization created by the referred user
